Johannesburg - Dozens of chefs across the globe have been cooking off a storm this week at Africa’s flagship airport, O.R. Tambo International in support of the fight against hunger.
As part of its Corporate Social Investments, O.R. Tambo International Airport is donating R50 000 towards the Bidvest World Chefs’ Tour Against Hunger initiative. “Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) always seeks to improve the quality of life of all our communities by positively impacting on their lives. The airport will hand over the cheque during a cook-a-thon at O.R. Tambo International Airport on 20 August 2011 (Saturday) at the International Arrivals hall,” says Unathi Batyashe-Fillis, ACSA’s Communications Manager at O.R. Tambo International Airport.
Be part of this global campaign at various cities and towns by donating funds or purchasing meals cooked and presented by the international Chefs.
