Largest Boeing Freighter lands at O.R. Tambo International Airport
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) welcomed the Boeing 747-8 Freighter (747-8F) jet airliner at O.R. Tambo International Airport yesterday 6 December 2011. Settlers Way High School comes up tops in the Airport Shopping School Choir Festive CD 2011 competition
Settlers Way High School from Bellville won the Cape Town International Airport, Airport Shopping local school choir competition. The first runner-up is Jan van Riebeek High School from Kloofnek, Cape Town and second runners up are Harry Gwala High School from Khayelitsha.

King Shaka International is prepared for COP17 Climate Change Conference
King Shaka International Airport (KSIA) is in full swing with preparations to process thousands of delegates and VIPs that will use the airport during the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP17) from 28 November to 9 December 2011. KSIA is expecting over 20 000 delegates and a few heads of states during the conference and is working closely with all departments and government agencies to ensure that all arrival and departure procedures are properly planned and systematically implemented.
