South Africa, 18 July 2014 – Airports Company South Africa has taken the commemorative 67 minutes call to action on Nelson Mandela International Day a step further by embarking on long-term sustainability initiatives that will continue to benefit communities around its airports beyond 18 July.
Cape Town - Airports Company South Africa has confirmed that the incident that took place at Cape Town International Airport on Wednesday, 28 May 2014 has been handed over to the South African Police Service for further investigations. There was one fatality and three people were wounded during the incident.
Johannesburg, 1 April 2014 – Airports Company South Africa has increased its tariffs by 5, 6% effective 1 April 2014. The increase, which was approved by the Regulating Committee, was implemented in consultation with the relevant industry stakeholders. The tariff increase was published in the government gazette dated 20 December 2013 (Notice 1228 of 2013) as required by the Airports Company Act No. 44 of 1993.
