Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has opened a new low cost, long term parking facility at O.R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) in response to a growing demand for a more affordable long term parking solution. The parking facility, boasting up to 1100 covered formal parking bays with 24 hour security is situated a short ten minutes away at the Super South Gate near Emperors Palace and is complimented by a free shuttle service that runs every 15 minutes.
Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) has enlisted the services of a private security company, Bosasa Security, and the support of the SA Police Service (SAPS) as part of its efforts to rid O.R. Tambo International Airport (ORTIA) of illegal porters, illegal meter taxi operators and touters as well as loiterers.
