Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is expecting higher than normal passenger traffic, particularly at its three main international airports O.R. Tambo, Cape Town and Durban, due to the influx of cyclists traveling to and from the 2008 Cape Argus Pick `n Pay Cycle Tour this weekend.
For the 2007/08 financial year Airports Company South Africa (ACSA), Cape Town International Airport has already donated just under 1million rand toward its corporate social responsibility. This money has been donated to various organisations with the aim of improving the lives of the impoverished people living in the airports surrounding areas.
The transition in ground handling services to two new companies, BidAir Services and Menzies Aviation, at all ten airports owned and managed by Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) got off to a good start this past weekend.
