Thursday, December 15, 2011 | 00:00

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) is advising passengers and airport users of disruptions at check-in and baggage services at O.R Tambo International Airport, due to a major water leak in Terminal A last night.

“The problem has been isolated and all efforts are being made to minimize the inconvenience to passengers. Accordingly 12 check-in counters, of the 104 counters will be out of service today in order to inspect equipment for possible water damage,” says Unathi Batyashe-Fillis; ACSA’s Communications & Brand Manager at O.R. Tambo International Airport.

About 60% of international out-bound traffic checks-in Terminal A and this consists of mainly International carriers. ACSA would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused and will advise passengers as soon as services are restored to normal.
