Inguqu Placement Agency is launching the International Drugs Smuggling Crime Awareness Campaign 2011 on Friday 10 June at the O.R. Tambo Premier Hotel.
The inclusion of South Africa in the global village has not only led to economic prosperity and growth, but has also exposed the country to drug trafficking networks through some of our country’s major ports of entry.
It is for this reason that key leaders in the transport sector as well as the South African Police Service will convene a conference to address some of the issues as part of Drug Awareness month.
Airports Company South Africa is supporting this initiative and joining forces with industry role-players by co-hosting a Business Breakfast with the Minister of Police, Nathi Mthethwa and former Miss South Africa Finalist and drug offender Vanessa Goosen to combat drug smuggling in the country and abroad.
